One of the world's largest technology companies102 buildings, 64 countries, ongoing

One programme. 64 countries. One way of working.

A global account run on a single set of standards, where the savings are the evidence that the model works rather than the point of it.

64
Countries run on one set of standards and one reporting shape
What was unchecked

A programme running across 102 buildings in 64 countries, delivered by different partners in every region, each with its own templates, its own reporting and its own reading of the standard. Every individual transaction was defensible. Nobody was reading them together, and nothing from one country compared with another.

What we examined

Line by line, back to source.

01

Cost data pulled from every source that fed the programme, reconciled into one comparable shape

02

Estimates rebuilt independently, so vendor pricing had something to be tested against

03

Rates, change orders and scope variations traced back to what was actually delivered on site

What we found

The same job was being run five different ways, so nothing from one region could be compared with another without rebuilding it by hand.

The largest recoveries came from patterns visible only across countries, never within one.

Standardised documentation removed a whole category of dispute before it could start, and over $10.6 million in savings was identified along the way.

What changed

The client runs one operating model: standardised SOPs in every country, live project data in one comparable shape, and a governance structure that keeps working between engagements. The savings are the measurable part. One global way of working is the point.
